Archive 1990’s India | Collages 2022
Delving into my parents' archive of their love story in India, I explore a dreamscape of fragmented memories. Through collages, I blend echoes of their past with a surreal vision of an India I will never experience. Each collage intertwines a collection of textiles, architectural sites, texts and papers, and generational interpretations. This journey into my family's roots has deepened my understanding of my heritage, inviting others to also value their own. This work reflects on identity, memory, and belonging.
