Combining my backrgound in lighting design and dance with my style of photography allows me to capture the essence dancers and performance, and the experince of the stage. Lighting design has transitioned into my photography compostionally and spatialy, and through the use of different kinds of exposures. Inspired by Bombay Beach, Valley of Fire, and Joshua Tree National Park in the American West, each site’s vast emptiness and surreal energy conveyed a timelessness that felt outside of present-day society. Immersed in these locations, I became drawn to traces of human presence—from vanishing car lights to fossilized rocks and ancient sea beds—contemplating life’s resilience across eras. This journey led me to imagine a future shaped by uncertainties and impossibilities, where what seems unreal today may become our tomorrow. &nbsp; Shot at Bombay Beach Joshua tree and Valley of Fire.
